LJ Idol, Season 11 - Week 0
I got my hair cut today for the first time since April (I think), and yes you all needed to know that. I smell like salon and hair products but my hair is shorter and cute now. About ten minutes ago I was watching Contraband because Giovanni Ribisi is in it and I'll watch him in literally anything (he's in Gone in 60 Seconds, one of my favorite movies ever ever) and now I'm watching 47 Ronin because I need background noise and at least it has Keanu Reeves. I'm not a fan of his facial hair here.
Occasionally I have Opinions and they're not always nice ones.
Maybe I should start over.
Hi, LJ Idol. I'm Cindy I'm an Aquarius, I enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach and frisky women (I spent so much dumb time looking for that quote) and this is only my second season, which means I actually know what I'm getting into this time. Yay.
I live in greater Boston, which is great because I love snow. Really. I hate shoveling it, but otherwise. I am not a warm-weather creature. I used to work for a tax and audit firm - I was the tax admin until they eliminated my job and 270 others - and now I'm an admin in the library system of one of the million universities that clutter up the landscape around here. I'm currently a temp but will theoretically eventually go perm.
A thing I learned working for CPAs: the 15th of every month is a deadline for someone. I don't miss busy season. At all.
I like to bake but I'm afraid of pie crust. I need to replace my flannel duvet cover. I curl (that weird Canadian sport with the rocks and the brooms), which reminds me I have a curling joke!
How do you get bacon to stop curling in the pan?
Take away its little brooms.

I've been in a writing group (in person) for, uh, fourteen years? I have no idea if it's made my writing any better, but at least it gets me out of the house. Metaphorically, anyway - I host.
And in conclusion, pancetta.
I don't know why it's so surprised.
I should not still be awake. I'm not a morning person but this is silly.
