All the luck with your job hunting and interviews! I agree about unemployment, it's soul destroying so hopefully one of these opportunities will deliver and quickly.

The Hugo Awards this year were momentous! I'm so happy and proud of AO3 and OTW. It's awesome to actually be a part of it in some small way and Naomi Novak is one of my heroes.

Good Omens! Yes! I'm in the same boat as you - it's a LONG time since I read the book so I wasn't haunted by little voices in my head pointing out differences but I did have that satisfied feeling that the show was doing the book justice. The casting was so good!

unemployment is also SO BORING. but i was offered a job! and accepted it! this morning! so everyone's good wishes and crossed fingers clearly worked. :D

the casting for good omens was fantastic across the board. jon hamm as gabriel was so good and such a dick. (i love it when angels are assholes. the only thing i liked about the sudden primacy of angels on spn was that except for castiel they were all assholes in nice suits.) i want to watch it again but i also kind of want to reread the book. or i could do both....

just for the record, my other choice for rbb prompt was yours - the one with jared looking at jensen in the mirror - except obviously i didn't know it was yours when i was making my prompt choices. but someone beat me to it. but i'm very pleased with the one i got.

Yes, the heat is back & I hate it. You picked prompt #9. That one was pretty cool & good luck writing. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Good luck with your interview.

i kind of started in the middle of the story and while i know how it ends (i think), i have no idea how it begins. >.< i'll figure it out. and thank you! clearly the good wishes worked, because i'm now gainfully employed. :D

That’s fantastic, congratulations! Is it the job you were hoping for? When do you start? I’m an accountant for a school district, handling all of the Federal Grants, special revenue & operating budget making sure all their purchases are in line with their budgets.
