it's supposed to be 90º tomorrow. ugh. those of you who live in hotter and humider parts of the world, allow me to ugh on your behalf. at least the movie theater near me is showing some good movies. they're doing midnight movies all summer (on fridays i think) and i missed streets of fire a couple weeks ago. i loved that movie so hard. i ( Read more... )

I think AO3 suffers comment-wise from the existence of the Kudos button which saves people from having to thing of words. Go you having all the ideas and planning ahead though! I'm in Camp Nano for July and have zero idea what I'm supposed to be doing. And I'm away for half the month too and know I won't get anything creative done while I'm away ( ... )

i have opinions about kudos and they are not nice ones. why are you doing camp nano if you're going to be gone half of july?? do you have an idea yet?

i have no attachment to any of the teams in the world cup, but the image of mexican fans celebrating with the south korean consul when south korea won made me want them to win. and also when mexico beat germany mexican fans jumping up and down registered as an earthquake. a very small one, but still.

that stuff in the tate modern is so cool! just random stuff found on the banks of the thames, presented like art. how neat.

I have absolutely no idea why I signed up for camp nano - none. It's really not my kind of thing anyway, to work like that.

I'm sad Mexico got knocked out - that's almost the only match to run to form so far!

Lol, too funny about the Korean embassy in Mexico. This year has been really weird with who went through and who didn't- there were some big surprises.

That corgi thing is so cute!!

And ugh, I am so with you on this summer terribleness. 90s? 100s? No thank you.

i've been cheering for mexico ever since, altho i think they've been knocked out of the running by now.

corgis are always adorable. :D and who doesn't need to spend some time clicking through pics of corgi cuteness? right?

Yes Texas is horribly hot and humid. I survive summer to live here fall, winter and spring. If 90% of my family did not live here I would move to another state. I love Texas but the summers are bad.
