i was surprised as hell to find fog! especially since we'd had so much sun earlier in the day. it's supposed to snow here tomorrow, and it was cloudy today, so i have some sympathy for your weather.

i really only ever want to do two things in florida - eat fish and go to the beach. and i finally got to go to the beach.

I love the pix of Florida. I have an aunt who lives there but I've never been. :) I have a hard time imagining just moving to a new state to retire.... :P

my parents actually moved to mass to retire! and then i think they just got tired of the weather.

i'd never even heard of french toast alerts until the big storm a couple weeks ago. it's a great (and delicious) way to gauge the severity of the weather, isn't it?

i finished river of teeth, which had a great premise it didn't really live up to, and then started and almost finished the memory trees, which i liked a lot better. (i finished the last chapter or so after i got home.)
