it was such a nice beach, and i'm not just saying that because it got me out of the fucking house. the sand was soooo soft.

i'd never even heard of french toast alerts until the big storm a couple weeks ago. it's a great (and delicious) way to gauge the severity of the weather, isn't it?
i finished river of teeth, which had a great premise it didn't really live up to, and then started and almost finished the memory trees, which i liked a lot better. (i finished the last chapter or so after i got home.)
