NANO STARTS AFTER MIDNIGHT ON TUESDAY AND I AM VERY EXCITED. i have no actual story but i do have a setting and a bunch of characters, only three of whom have names. i think the pov character has a name but i don't like it. >.< if you're also doing nano, good luck! if you're not, i apologize in advance for the whining. :D

no worries, i didn't take it as a complaint. :D it kind of was a little of everything.

what possesses someone to think "now that i'm in my seventies and retired, i think i'll take up catburgling"? props to him for committing so many crimes without being caught, tho. that's pretty impressive.

i'm glad i went, but i didn't go for the girltwin, i went for my cousin. but man, playing favorites like that is such a terrible thing to do to your kids - mom doesn't ignore the boytwin, i mean it's not like she thinks she only has one kid, but she's really only interested in talking up the girltwin - not just for their relationship to you, but for their relationship with each other. and i shudder to think what kind of person the girltwin is going to grow up to be, when her mom is so invested in her and so convinced she's amazing. (and she's, you know, a ten-year-old. she's not a bad kid or anything but she's not a prodigy.)

i don't know which is more impressive - that people recognised their own pumpkins when they weren't carved or anything, or that those lads managed to cram 49 of the buggers into their car! Mind you, neither of those things hold a candle to the ancient thief.

apparently the van was wall-to-wall orange. either it was a big van or those kids could really pack a space. pumpkin tetris! it is pretty impressive that people could recognize their own uncarved pumpkins.

I so agree on Garcia/Morgan, those two are just so totally adorkable. Since I only have very vague memories of that episode where Garcia gets shot I did not notice any retconning too much. I was kinda hoping it would turn out that they had put the wrong killer away, I thought that would be interesting and new, and would give them something to chew on for the rest of the season that's meaty in new and different ways (rather than having one of them being stalked by a killer, again). But in the end we were back to business as usual. Am I asking for too much?

i actually would've been annoyed if it turned out that floyd wasn't the killer from the earlier episode, because that really would've been a retcon - altho to be honest i don't think i'd mind an episode where the bau was really that wrong - and i ended up kinda liking the episode. but after twelve seasons it would be nice to get something different, i totally agree.

Yeah, it doesn't have to be THIS episode, but after having been on the air such a long time it would be interesting if it turns out that they put the wrong person away at some point in the run of the shown and see them deal with that.
