Yup, the cucumber thing is true, they were discussing it on the radio yesterday morning. Apparently one cucumber was sinisterly impaled, but mostly they've just been left lying around in unexpected places. One theory is that this is a cat hater at work...

OH MY GOD THAT IS THE BEST. i had no idea cucumbers were so terrifying! my favorite clips are the ones where someone very quietly slides a cucumber next to the cat and just waits for the cat to notice.
