today my sister and i saw valerian and the city of a thousand planets which was visually fabulous and crazy and inventive and fun, and otherwise, uh, well, luc besson wrote the screenplay and he can't write. ( nothing super spoilery but just in case. )

punny, movie review, boxing, cohousing, cool shit, outer space, animation, fun with friends, first nations, hair, ww1, art, wine, belle epoque, tiny things, historical nifty, so cute i squee

oh, it looks so bad. i wonder if one of the reasons no one's opened it yet is because they're afraid it's late-roman vinegar, or that it will release a cloud of toxic gas once they get the cork out.

but the short is so cute! and it has a happy ending! and the heart is just so excited to get the boys together!

hee! you may not be alone! there might not be any other microbio geeks in the museum, tho. i mean, only one person will handle the bottle because everyone else is afraid to. i thought they were just afraid they'd drop it and destroy something of historical value, but maybe they're afraid of what's inside it.

Oh good lord, yes, if that thing broke and got all over me I'd never feel clean again. I mean, I'd obligingly drip some of it into a container for others to study/drink/sniff, but I'd NEVER feel clean again. :P
