First of all, not yay people hitting your car, but yay them giving you money to cover the insurance deductible.

...read mpreg and like it? That's trust right there :D

in cash, even! which is not quite what i was expecting, but i'm not complaining.

it was sam/dean mpreg, too. not just mpreg, but wincestuous mpreg! i'd read a lot of pt's fic and some of her wincest, otherwise i never would've even considered it.

Ooh, that's amazing that the person actually called you back and came through with the cash! Yay!!!

Timeless was... well... *sigh* Their fast and loose interpretation of timeline changes are getting frustrating. I did like Flynn using what he knew about Rufus, Wyatt and Lucy against him though, getting them to do what he wanted as a result. The magically appearing timesphere was a bit much though (why would, out of ALL the places he could have put his sphere, it just happen to be right next to the house of someone he didn't even know existed when he landed in that time?)

I wish I could send you my snow. We got something like 8 inches the other day and it was heavy as hell to shovel and our car got stuck trying to move it (there's 'snow emergency' rules put into place so they can plow and if you don't move your car appropriately you risk a ticket and either getting plowed in or getting towed and it's super expensive to get your car out of the impound lot.) Fun times.

i am so impressed! i mean, who does that? not just that he left a note on my poor damaged car with his phone number, but he followed through and gave me money to fix it! in cash, even. O.O

i figured flynn just wasn't looking where he was landing. i did like the boss whose name i can't remember giving lucy a thumb drive to keep in the pod, in case they altered history so much she didn't know she'd had a wife and kids. i don't know if that would be better, tho, to be reminded of a life you apparently had in a different timeline. but they've never changed time that much - well, i guess erasing lucy's sister in the pilot counts - so why would they start now? and i can't unsee lucy's consistently ahistorical hair.

we have snow emergency parking too! sometimes you just get a ticket and sometimes you get towed. but you can still be plowed in even if you're parked on the appropriate side of the street, because the plows don't care. eight inches is a lot, tho.

Thank you! It was a very lovely birthday, cuddly cats, attentive hubs and all. :D

That was pretty much my reaction of Timeless, too. I just don't really know what I thought of it at all.

That really sucks about your car, but it's pretty cool that the person followed through.

i forgot to tell you that the master tax guides that i spent most of yesterday packing were sent from your fair *cough* city! i don't know if that's something to recommend it or not.

i think my reaction to every episode of timeless is "i'm not sure what i think". (except the bonnie and clyde episode, which was "that wasn't as bad as i was expecting".) their weird relationship to changing history occasionally throws me out of the story. and for someone who is so determined to NOT change anything, lucy's hair is astoundingly and consistently historically wrong. it's a little thing but now i can't not notice it.

snow! Snow you don't have to dig! and money! These sound like things that might offset the car being hit in the first place. Go person for taking responsability!

snow you don't have to shovel is the best kind of snow. :D altho i would've preferred that it didn't turn to rain and then become slush.... and seriously, i am so impressed at that guy for getting back to me and not even arguing about the money. and i got it in cash. O.O

i got an updated estimate from the body shop today, tho, and it's about $1000 over what the insurance inspector said. i'm not sure how much of that i'm liable for, but i bet a lot. so getting money from the guy who hit me is even better than it was on monday.
