remember how somebody hit my car, and left their number, and then never called me back? they called me back. and apologized for hitting my car, and offered to give me money. and then came over and did give me money, enough to cover the deductible. i'm impressed as hell. also $500 richer.
this is important partly because i took my car to the body shop first thing this morning. we had snow last night - let me repeat that for the folks in the back - WE GOT SNOWED ON LAST NIGHT - but it turned to rain this morning and by the time i left my house it was raining and slushy. bleh. but we got snow last night! and my car is safely off the street and at the shop where it can be fixed.
i was consequently late for work, but whatever, i stayed late to make up for it. i also spent pretty much the entire day packing tax guides until i ran out of those clear plastic envelopes you put the ups labels in. we still have seven guides to mail and i think i cleaned the office out of plastic envelopes. oops?
watched timeless, not sure what i think. i should probably watch it again.
and totally unrelated to all of these, a very happy birthday to poisontaster! who remains the only person who ever got me to read mpreg and like it. i trust her, is what i'm saying. i hope it was a good one! like, the kitties were cuddly and the hubs was attentive. :D and if you wanted it, you got cake.
