Your weekend reports always make me feel slightly guilty, since my achievements normally are 'got dressed before 12pm', 'did chores' & 'left house at least once'. I'm blaming it on the abysmal English weather, though. Hmphf.

Btw, India consideres itself a Hindu country on account of them making up over 80% of their population. Only about 13% are Muslims. Indian food is very yummy, though.

there's slightly more stuff in my weekends mostly because i have to get my shit out of my parents' basement. otherwise the weekend wrapup would be more like "got comics, went grocery shopping, didn't get dressed until noon". and crappy weather is a totally legitimate reason to not do anything!

the speaker and her husband were indian, which surprised me mostly because i always forget that there are muslims in india. apparently it has the second-highest muslim population, after malaysia. probably because there are so many indians to begin with.... i mean, 13% of a shit-ton is still a lot of people.

That is probably true, India's population is huge, so those 13% probably account for a lot of the Muslim world population, after Indonesia, which as you say most people do not realise is the country with the biggest Muslim population.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get all schoolmarmish there, btw, it's just that many of my friends are Muslim, so by default I am privy about a lot of the moans and political discussions, and they have a lot of (understandable) sensitivities about their perception by Westerners. I guess it's contagious. ;p

no worries! at least in the us, the general perception of "muslim" seems to be "middle eastern" or "syrian" - unless there's a news story about some poor sikh who got shit for his turban - so i don't generally remember that there are muslim indians/bengalis/bangladeshis too. and i never would've guessed that indonesia had the biggest muslim population.

Who doesn't need to toast some nice, flat rocks? It almost looks as if there's a little stone sandwich there off to the right. ;)

Hedgie earrings! Why did I not make those myself when we had the shrinky-dink oven?

a stone sandwich to go with the stone toast!

you had shrinky-dinks and it never occurred to you to make shrinky-dink hedges?? i'd say it's never too late, but it probably is. but there are still tiny hedgie earrings in the world. :D

Wait, where are your parents moving to? Is it to Florida? :D Which would be exciting because pretty, but less so because you'd see them less often.

BIG BANG \o/ We shall judge together. Update your phone book, I texted you from the new number. And congrats on being done :D

I don't know if I'd want to be all cuddly with a squirrel like that. Med school ruined me. Every wild animal carries some horrible disease. Like plague, or rabies, or leprosy, or tularemia. Can't even trust bunnies! So sad.

sarasota! where you came to meet me for lunch in january, except they want to be on the mainland and not on a key. i'd probably see them twice a year, maybe three times, depending on how often they came back here. even worse? i won't be able to do my laundry at their house! i'll have to *gasp* pay for it!

*prepares judgeypants* :D i actually feel kind of bad about the preemptive judging, except that i'm sure someone is going to judge my summary.

the girl in the picture even said "i know you're not supposed to touch wild animals, but i just want to take them home with me!" she didn't, obviously, but i knew how she felt. they were so cute and fuzzy! and wild. and who knows where they'd been or what they'd been into.
