on the bus home tonight i entertained myself thinking of zine titles for a story that may or may not ever be written. the only one i liked was 69 parsex (maybe "parsecs"), which has a mix of kinky stuff and straight-up science fiction nerdery. altho not necessarily at the same time, so it might not be the place to go for reviews of the r2d2- ( Read more... )

There's probably an issue in that British hedgehogs are considerably less cute than the African Pygmy hedgehog. Which is adorable! UK ones are a little scary-looking, though I think Indian hedgehogs are even scarier-- closer to rodents. Much like-- did you know this?-- the Australian o'possum is actually cute, whereas the ones we see in the US look like giant, rabid rats. :O

I saw that penguin vid yesterday, and what I liked most was, "We're busted. Run faster! Past the people we were trying to escape from!"

Those apology cakes... "Sorry I tried to sacrifice you to SATAN"??? Whoa.

my facebook profile pic is an israeli hedge. it has giant ears and looks more rodenty than the african pygmy hedge, but it's still pretty cute. i didn't know there were indian hedges! i didn't know australia had opossums, either. it would probably defeat the purpose to make the british national animal an african hedge, even if it is cuter than the native british hedge.

i think my favorite is "i'm sorry i projectile vomited all over your apartment and cat". that poor cat! and "sorry about the crabs" was actually kind of cute.
