What I just finished reading:
the hundred thousand kingdoms, which had some nifty worldbuilding and which i enjoyed, altho i wish there was a pronunciation guide. i mean, how do you pronounce "yeine"? i'm kind of curious about the next book in the series, altho i'm not desperate to read the next part

I really enjoyed all 3 books in the hundred thousand kingdoms series, although I had a hard time getting into the second one until I figured out how it tied into the first one and where the author was going with the series.

i read the beginning of it in the bookstore and couldn't tell how it tied into the first one, but i figured if i bought it and kept reading it would make sense.

I don't like Maguire :/ He's one of those people that, somehow, try to be intentionally nasty for, IDK, atmosphere. But do report back with your impressions.
