today i left the front desk for like ten minutes and when i got back there was a doughnut for me! a nice yeast doughnut with dark chocolate glaze. and the woman who i know got it for me, i don't know her last name or where her cube is so i couldn't find her and thank her! seems like such an american thing, sugar, mr robot, doughnuts, curiosity rover, outer space, fun stuff, public transportation is the best transp, occasionally my coworkers are really swe, science!, pluto, new job big office

she was so nice! and i'm not just saying that because she bought me a doughnut for no reason except that we were talking about them. and i was so surprised to have a conversation with a total stranger for the entire t ride! people never talk to each other on the t! but she was so... sane! and normal! it was pretty cool.

Chocolate-chocolate doughnuts are my favorite. I've never understood the Krispy Kreme attraction, since that kind of donut is rarely worth eating IMO!

Loved the paper-doll scientists, and the idea that there were steampunk accessories for the Ada Lovelace one. :D

are you talking chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate glaze? because those are DELISH. krispy kremes are best if you get them fresh, tho. they need to be hot and soft and the glaze can't have fully set yet for the true experience. altho if you're not a yeast doughnut fan, it probably won't matter how fresh they are.

my favorite thing of ada's is her "i *heart* math" union suit. but the steampunk alternate reality is pretty neat.
