That sounds like a super chill day :D Also, best time to spend vacation: at home, chilling. Preferably on your new couch, but for lack of such, a pillow will do for now. It's a fabulous pillow.

I watched a bit of Mr Robot the other day on YouTube, and it seemed definitely not my cup of noodles, but I thought you'd like the main guy :D (And he'll always be Snafu from The Pacific for me. "I'll crap myself to death and turn inside out through my asshole!") (Wait, do I have Pacific icon? Have a Fight Club icon.)

I cracked up this morning when I read your email that mentioned ANOTHER plot bunny that requires research :D

a tyler icon is SUPER appropriate in this case. sadly i won't be able to chill on my new couch for probably three weeks, tho.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME, WITH ALL THE HISTORICAL BUNNIES. i facepalm at myself. clearly some part of me is a glutton for punishment.

i figured i needed something to break up all the orange of the couch. also there's no cushioning in the back and i don't want to have to slouch on my sofa all the time. so, pillows! and no, it's not just you. :D altho usually i just window shop for my future.

the down time was soooo nice. if i could i'd take a day off every month.

it was! and isn't it? the couch is about the same orange as the little diamonds.

i really like going places but there's something to be said for taking a vacation and staying put. it's really relaxing.
