the addition of historical hair is pretty fun, isn't it. i can't believe what used to pass for bathingsuits, tho. the 1915 one looks so heavy, considering.
Re: Kale Remove center stem (I usually just grab the leaf at the base of the leafy part in one hand and pull the stem in the opposite direction with the other hand. Apparently there's proper ways to do this, but I'm lazy and you can't make me do it the proper way.) Chop leaves up into bite size pieces.
Heat olive oil (or butter. or coconut oil, or whatever you have that makes you happy) and add the kale once the pan is hot (but not smoking). Saute for a few minutes until the kale reduces. Add in some minced garlic. Saute a minute longer until you can smell garlic.
From here, you can eat as is over rice or noodles. Or mix in some extra butter and cream and hard cheese and then add some noodles and eat that.
i love that your instructions include "saute until you smell garlic". hee. also, yum. i've only had cheese on my kale once, because it was a kale caesar salad and there was grated parmesan on it. melted cheese with butter and cream sounds DELISH.
