\o/ WHEEEEEEEEE! You wrote one! You wrote the couch smut! And I got to wake up and read it and feel all happy and gooey.

So I see now that Lily has a dog. Is it a tiny lap dog? :D Aw, I love that Danny isn't thinking much about how he's letting her run this whole date, whatever, he's just in love and having a good time, and I love how he thinks about the ballet so much.

Also, I'm very gleeful that you wrote the first sex scene (meaning, between the characters first, not by any means the first one you've ever written). And also, also? If I didn't know that Lily was older by, what is it, thirty years? I'd never be able to tell from this POV. Because Danny doesn't think about it at all, it doesn't cross his mind for a second.

one down, four to go! maybe five, because now i have an idea for a ficlet in which lily goes to california for someone's wedding, and it's early enough in the relationship that she doesn't even consider bringing danny as her plus one, and he drinks too much at his friends' dinner party and calls her to tell her he misses her and to recite badly-remembered and probably fairly erotic love poetry over the phone. and she tells him to stop, she's at a family function, she'll be home soon, he needs to go home and go to bed. (he probably is home. but he reallyreallyreally needs to tell her how much he loves and misses her.) (and then when she does come home, he meets her at the airport with a rose. which is fun since she also called a car service to pick her up

Lily is clearly awesome. No yippy dogs for her, and also no silly distracting phone conversations during a family function. But I bet she's still flattered by that call :D

My friend has a pitbull named Rosey. She is very white with the pinkest nose to ever pink, and she's also adorable.

the landlady's son who lives behind me has pitbulls too. (pebbles and bo. they're loud but not vicious.) i just think they're so cute.
