i have no idea what the date is any more. i am so confused. at least i remembered that it's monday. (probably because there was a sleepy hollow rerun.... i'm going to miss it next week but based on the preview i'm pretty sure i'd be spending half the episode bitching about ichabod's hair, so i think that's ok ( Read more... )

i have three pages of actual beginning and i think i'm going to cut half of them! >.< but it's a start. i also have half a later scene and a couple of random cameos. and i found some visual reference, woot.

i just sent you an email! partly because i had to tell you no-pants day was on sunday and you should keep an eye out for people riding the subway in their underwear. :D

(it's really only three and a half months until first drafts are due and i know because i counted. yeek.)

\o/ Doesn't have to be good, just has to be done. Three pages is awesome. And yes, I got the email and made a mental note to stay well clear of the subway on that Sunday. Cruel, though, to have a pantless day in January! It was freezing here last week. It was probably the most dedicated commuters riding pantless. Anyway, I got it and will reply once I get some breathing room from this clinic :D

Jee. How do we manage even? With late starts and need for research. IDEK.

i wrote the circusbang in two and a half months and i had to research that from scratch. which is not something i really want to do again.... and is probably why i felt like i was letting it down.

"it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be done" is my favorite bigbang mantra. it also works for nano. :D that and "i'll fix it in edits", and occasionally "all roads lead to porn".

normally they're pretty close, yeah. they just rented a condo for six weeks, i think because a lot of their friends do - well, i think some people actually own places down there - and because it's nice to get away to somewhere warm.

it was sunny! and not quite as warm as my sister and i were hoping! but sunny! and i got to admire a bunch of classic cars up close. :D
