blade of the immortal: raining chaos (vol 28) and beyond good and evil (vol 29), which means i am CAUGHT UP. there's only one more volume and then the series is done

i've seen that! someone commented on tumblr that skinny steve was like a chihuahua with aggression issues, and someone else ran with it and drew that. i love that bucky's all "dammit, not again".

Oooh, you might be in the right headspace reading-wise for Rashi's Daughters. I think it takes place in 1100s France. I've only read the first volume, Yocheved, and learned a lot about life in that era, esp wrt Jewish women's experience. Or at least their experience in the modern imagination based on historical detail. It's surprisingly racy.
