i feel like i just kind of vanished off to wincon. well, i'm home now. i've watched sleepy hollow (not as batshit as previously!) and the blacklist (eh) but have not actually unpacked. >.< i'm trying to remember what i did all weekend besides talk to people who looked familiar, and am totally drawing a blank.

let's see how well i do. )

wincon formerly winchestercon, fun with fangirls

I WANT SOME GHOST POOP NOW! It sounds delicious. Also, like it was probably the best part of the ghost tour :D What do talkative ghosts want to talk about, I wonder? And is it better than having a random bag lady at the bus stop want to talk to you? :D (What if they want to take you to the basement, put a non-con party hat on you and feed you fossilized birthday cake?)

But overall, yay for fangirls, wincon, Orlando and an awesome weekend!

i loved the ghost poop, and i love that it was called "ghost poop". ghost tour companies with a sense of humor. i don't know what talkative ghosts want to talk about, because we didn't get any. at the very beginning of the tour, one of the guys asked if we'd been on ghost tours before, and we were all "yeah, a few", and apparently you could kind of see the "oh shit" cross his face. (i didn't notice but i wasn't paying attention, but some people did catch it.)

...did a random bag lady hit you up for conversation at a bus stop??

>> (What if they want to take you to the basement, put a non-con party hat on you and feed you fossilized birthday cake?) <<

then you hope your brother comes looking for you right quick with a lot of rock salt and a shotgun. :D

yay fangirls! i'd say you should come next year but since you don't know where you'll be.... theoretically we'll be in pittsburgh.

Who did get hit up at the bus stop by the bag lady at some point? :D

Ha! If they'll let me into Baltimore, I might actually be not that far. There is the question of having a free weekend, but we'll see what happens!

hee! actually that was mostly sarcasm, because 570 miles is kind of a distance when you can be in another state in fifty minutes. one of my roommates who lives in north nowhere, new mexico, thinks nothing of driving 100 miles to get to her kid's (american) football games - he's in high school - but that's a long-ass drive for new englanders. but i hate to fly and i kind of want to drive because i'm kind of nuts.

OMG PITTSBURGH SERIOUSLY??? THAT IS PRACTICALLY MY BACKYARD. SQUEEEEE!

I've had enough of this missing wincon. Next year for sure.

So glad to hear your report and all the awesome fun. I've never even played Cards Against Humanity. ):

The other night I was practicing my Winter Soldier Hair and makeup. It takes a lot of work to look that "bad". :D

I'm into this new thing called "subtle cosplay" which is actually kind of me all the time, considering that I dressed as Jim and/or Blair for about two years. :D I'm plotting how I can wear a silver arm in every day life. :D :D :D

come to pittsburgh! (it's not actually a done deal, but we're crossing our fingers.) (i said "more on this later" and then there wasn't more. >.< )

cards against humanity is kind of a license to be a really terrible person and be rewarded for it. but it can also be howlingly funny, in an "i'm laughing and i feel bad about it" kind of way.

i can just imagine how much effort the hair and makeup people put into the winter soldier's hair to make it look that bad. some people like it but they're wrong. it's terrible hair and it looks terrible on sebstan's head and i just hope he was relieved when he was done shooting and didn't need it any more. ...this is apparently the hill i will die on. i have picked my battle and it is "bad hair".

if you figure out how to wear the silver arm all the time - besides long sleeves and gloves - you must share.
