it is apparently as cold in canada (specifically southern manitoba) as it is on mars. mostly this means i'm trying to picture the curiosity rover in a winter scarf. ( Read more... )

i am ok with this! i don't have to drive anywhere until sunday, and in a pinch i can walk to the grocery store. i'll work from home in my pajamas and throw mental snowballs at people. :D

it's bitter fucking cold - altho still not as cold as canada - but we have snow! which is still pretty light and fluffy snow, which means it's easy to shovel. i hope it warms up for you, because yikes. habitable planets should not be colder than non-habitable planets.

Now I'm envicious! Over here it's around 10 degree above Zero, stormy and rainy and WAYS TOO WARM! That's not fair :(.
Well, at least we had tons of snow last year ...

i love that she knitted a peter jackson. and the dragon is really cute. he's too cuddly to be evil.
