Ahahaha. Maze and I were looking at those and saying "that's pretty cheap for a whole office/art studio!"

Sorry about your toe.

May you have an easy fast!

it has occurred to me that maybe i shouldn't mention how much i like the rain around people who may or may not be in danger of floating away. ahem.

$33k seems like a lot of money to me! altho to be honest i don't know anything about home building costs, so that could conceivably be a reasonable sum.

may your fast be easy as well! and if you don't fast, uh, well, i'll be jealous tomorrow that you can eat.

Sorry about your toe! I opened my f-page today, and there was a photo from Chicago train, with some dude's bare butt bulging out of his pants, squished between a handrail and a divider thingie on the train, right into some seated woman's face. There was a naked butt in her face for the whole ride. I'm just saying, it could be worse! (Can't link to a locked post.)

The patterns are sooo cool! Yay, they even managed to design one with my favourites (which is megacool :)).
Ouch! I'm sorry for your toe. Bleeding? That's bad and it was (and probably is) painful. Toes are always painful *gah!*. Hope your toe will heal soon!

Ahm, actually I had a longsleeve dinosaur-shirt for a while, and I still own some Jurassic Park merchandise (including a shirt and a cap). And, believe it or not, during the dinosaur-hype over here someone published a book how to knit shirts with dinosaur-motives. Mostly for kids, true, but if you know how you can turn those patterns into shirts and jackets for adult. Yes, dinosaur-fangirl in RL *blushes*
My favourite? Parasaurolophus (that one this the huge horn at the back of his head).

Hope your toe's okay.

I love those office pod thing. Although, yeah, I could have a two car garage with power added to my place for about 2/3rds the cost. Then again, if they come with heaters, the may not be totally out of line

my toe is actually fine now! (i finally took the band-aid off and my toe isn't even bruised.)

i admit i don't know anything about home construction costs, but $33k still sounds like a lot of money, heating and all.

The office pods don't make sense to me. One of the advantages of working from home is that your bathroom and kitchen are nearby. Why would I want a separate space (that I have to heat and supply electricity to, and also look at since it's on my property) rather than just using my home office?

Now, if I had a little cottage in the backyard where I did my writing or something, that might be different. But for an office worker? I just can't see the point!

maybe if you reallllly need to get out of the house, but you can't go far, but you can't concentrate or get anything done sitting in a home office that's just another room rather than a separate fancy shed. or you don't actually have a spare room to turn into an office, and you don't want to build an addition. i'd rather have a cottage too, tho.
