today feels kind of like sunday, because i essentially had yesterday off. it's a little weird. and i'm so used to seeing news on channel 7 that i was surprised this morning when something else was on

The sloth-princesses are cool LOL! With the videos ... 3/4 of them aren't available for me so I'm sorry, the Colbert one is among them :( Is it necessary to make a remake of The Crow? Really? Don't think so. I love the original movie an I kind of loved the TV-series but ...nah, please no remake! Perfection is too complicated to top.
But I'm glad to hear that Boston is back to normal now - well, as back to normal as it is possible. For me it was a little weird today as I'd watched two or three hours via live-stream last night the "Breaking news" this morning wasn't neither, not Breaking and no news for me.
i love the idea of disney princesses as sloths. they're so cute and fuzzy! i'm not so thrilled with the idea of a remake of the crow, tho. even if they go back to the original comics as their source rather than rebooting the movie. just... no.
there was a baseball game yesterday, so i'd say yeah, in general things are back to normal. which is nice.
While I utterly flatly Do Not Want a remake of the Crow, Tom Hiddleston isn't the worst casting suggestion I've heard. He might do something interesting with it ....
*hugs* You're definitely allowed to think about other things for a while.
...But let's not think about how our fifteen-year-old selves will be crushed when they remake The Crow. It was perfect the first time! IT CAN'T RAIN ALL THE TIME ETC. ETC.
currently i'm trying to think about my bigbang and how i can finish the draft in nine days without it being too terrible. oh, and what i should say in the summary. i hate writing summaries. haaaaaate. but at least i have a title. i think.
i am resolutely NOT thinking about another version of the crow. nope, nope. altho i do kind of want to find my poster and put it up.... (is this how diehard trek fans felt when jj abrams said he was going to reboot the franchise?)
The tv show spoiled the Brandon Lee turn for me, but oh, I watched the hell out of it. My first exposure to Mark Dacascos and why Iron Chef America always makes me sneer. Hiddles should play Shakespeare to fangirls.
I finished a sweater, but not a Big Bang, and you were in my thoughts most often this week.
i never saw the series. i might have watched the pilot out of curiosity but if i did i don't remember it, and i didn't watch any more than that. my first exposure to mark dacascos was brotherhood of the wolf, so the first few times i saw iron chef i just giggled. i can see him as eric draven, tho.
i totally agree with you about tom hiddleston. more shakespeare, fewer early-90s movie remakes. well, and another turn as loki, that's worth doing.
i saw your sweater! it looks good. :D but are you not going to finish the bang?
Hmmm, I think a remake of The Crow movie is pointless, but a more accurate movie adaptation of the comic could have something to it. However, Tom Hiddleston just does not look or feel the part.
that's kind of how i feel too. i can't tell if they're going back to the original comics or if they want to reboot the movie, but if they just try a new adaptation of the comics it might be ok. altho i still don't think it's a remake that should happen in the first place.
