Come play with me in August! It can be lunch or coffee or whatever works for you!

how about lunch on thursday? :D otherwise i'll just sit on my couch all day and watch the olympics. which is fun and occasionally interesting but not exactly productive.

Maybe they'll have to pay you unemployment if they fire you, and it's cheaper to keep you around? I don't know, but I wish you all the luck with the job, if you're still looking for a new one!

it's probably more that if they fire me, they have to find someone to replace me - because i'm the only person who does what i do, and yes it's all admin and office stuff, but if i'm typing letters and checking email and answering the phone and doing demographic research, no one else has to - and keeping me on but paying me part-time is easier and cheaper than the alternative.

i'm looking for a new job in theory, but not so much in practice. i am the biggest slacker ever, seriously.
