flist! those of you who have smartphones, can you get online radio stations on them? like, if your favorite station streams online, will your phone pick it up. do you need an app for that? (rich the coworker listens to some radio station from los angeles on his computer when he's here. like that, but on a phone.) can you talk/text/whatever at ( Read more... )

Thanks for the link to the Jerusalem photos. J'lem does get snow, but not very often, and it doesn't usually stick around for very long.

Any streaming you can do on your computer, you should be able to do on your phone, as long as you have the net. 4G will have less buffering than 3G, but I'm stuck with 3G right now and I stream Pandora just fine.

Totes drains your battery, tho, because you're not just listening to music, you're streaming data. If I listen in my car, I always plug it in.
