dear boss,

getting the mail is not a hardship. really. even in the rain. i have an umbrella, my coat has a hood, and i'm wearing appropriate shoes. and most importantly, it's an excuse to get out of the officei mean, i'm going to go to starbucks anyway, you may as well give me a reason to keep walking ( Read more... )

well, no one ever listens to me. i have no idea why it's catching on with people in your neck of the woods, tho.... dammit, people, shut up and pay attention for once!

there was a lot of pie and it was all good. i was a little overstuffed, tho.

i did! it got compliments! (also i really liked it. :D ) i used half a red onion instead of spring onions because i couldn't find spring onions, but that worked out well. someone brought a spinach and bacon quiche, but your pie was better. :D

i guess if you write a whacked-out au of your own story, you could end up with some weird situations for your characters, but otherwise, yeah, if it goes with the narrative it's not going to be that weird in context.

oh my god, so much pie. but it was all good.

one of the few consistently good things about this building is that the basement is watertight. which is very handy when you get rain for three days straight.
