it's kind of cold out. and by "kind of" i mean "really". at least it's not as windy as it was yesterday. (i have a feeling you'll be getting a lot of "the weather is this but at least it's not that" for the next few months.) also i might have lost my boss again. he went downtown to pick up a check about three hours ago. how long does that

oh man, that was a long time ago. i never bought angel/xander as a pairing, especially as a pairing of people who actually liked each other, because canonically they really didn't. and as for the fandom, it always struck me as very big but at the same time kind of cliquish and not particularly welcoming. the bnf's that i was aware of seemed kind of elitist and judgemental - but also pretty intelligent and genuinely thoughtful about their show, and no doubt good to their friends - i didn't want to be talked down to or dismissed by someone who thought they were a big fish in a big fannish pond, while i was a mere guppy. (which, ok, i WAS a mere guppy. and i was ok with that.) and yet the folks i met thru buffy were a really sweet, friendly bunch of people, and i'm still very fond of them.
