i got this from firinel and i'm reposting because a. i hope they find the poor girl, and b. i know there are some chicagoans out there. :D

(she's a relative of karnythia. the cops think she ran away but her family doesn't, so basically there's been no amber alert.)

I don't understand the cops...even if she ran away.. she's only fifteen! I will keep my fingers crossed that she's found soon and is unharmed.

you'd think they'd be on the case because of her age, whether she ran away or not - especially if she ran away! - but i guess not. in any case, i hope they find her and she's ok when they do.

oh thank god. i read karnythia's post and the best i can think is that if the guys who were keeping her were adults, that means they can be tried as adults. it sounds really scary and i'm so glad that poor girl is home.
