The whole "family spat" set-up just makes me picture Michael now as Chet from Weird Science. I have no idea why, but now it's just Michael giving Lucifer nurples and crap in my head. >_>;

i'll come home and you'll have written a whole story about the death metal fish farmer! (i skimmed your email and i think you should TOTALLY go with the guy who really is as dangerous as he looks, and not just a marshmallow in a leather jacket. partly because the image of matthew being genuinely dangerous makes me giggle.)

there were some truly priceless bits on spn last night, i have to say. the dr sexy thing was HYSTERICAL. dean as fanboy! hee. altho i think metallicar!sam being uncomfortable with dean getting stuff out of the trunk tops even that.

The beginning was a bit over the top when I didn't know what was going on. Then it just became great!
I'm not sure about the ending though, I liked the trickster, did he have to be Gabriel? :| Then again most of the angels bore me... idk. Castiel is oddly likable, if only for the few weird random funnies

I loved the episode, personally. And, well, I think it'd be really weird if they had an episode at this point that had nothing to do with the overall plot, 'cause, y'know--apocalypse, sort of overshadows everything. Last week's had nothing to do with it, though, and I found that one kinda boring and lackluster.

I suppose in the end, if you don't enjoy the Apocalypse storyline, then no, you're not really going to enjoy or care about what's going on in the episodes at this point.
