the good things for today are slightly mitigated by the fact that my car doors are frozen shut. at least i don't have to drive anywhere until tomorrow. but still! my dad's helpful

*random suggestion* It also might help if instead of water (this will sound odd, but it works) is to use vodka (one part warm water, one part vodka) to open the door. The vodka doesn't freeze, so you don't have to worry about yanking it open right afterwards.

Us Michiganders learn useful tricks when we have blizzards with lake effect snow.
