the office closed at 2:30, by which time it had actually started to snow, and as i am so very smart, i went to target instead of going home, so i could get the thing for the kid for my parents' hanukah party. well, in theory. target didn't have anything on the kid's list - they don't have legos! what's up with that? - so i got a couple other ( Read more... )

I feel your pain lol...we had a storm a couple weeks ago, and my passenger side wiper had given up the fight. It had mostly disconnected from the metal part, and the metal would screech across my windshield (good I know -_- ) so I finally got it

So here I am in Walmart's parking lot, in driving snow and wind, trying to fix the freaking thing... I've done it a million times... but it wouldn't come *off* I was getting really RAWR about it, so I got back in the car and drove home and got a large cup of warm water and poured it on it lol. It had ice jamming the locking part and wouldn't come off because of it. After the water, it worked just fine LOL Finally got it back on.

and as a side note... usually the wiper section has a book or a little computer to tell you what size wiper blade you need
and I could've sworn Target had legos! they've got other lego things like Bioncle and crap..and lego sets... were you just looking for plain legos maybe?

there's an outside chance i might need to de-ice the wiper tomorrow to change the blade, so i'm glad you mentioned dumping hot water on yours. i didn't see a book or computer or anything to check to make sure i had the right size, but i figure i can just return the one that doesn't fit.
