ps. I think Castiel is weakening, he's not going to be a good soldier forever is he? I think a little bit of humanity is rubbing off on him, and who knows how Anna's experience is going to play out in his own psychology.
well, sam/ruby isn't a flavor of sex scene or a pairing that particularly appeals to me, so dean and ANYONE would be an improvement. but i love that he and anna did it in the back seat of the impala. something about her seemed kind of, i dunno, high school sweetheart, so sex in the car made perfect sense to me.
i think castiel's weakening too. didn't he say a couple episodes ago that he's starting to question his orders/mission/whatever? and he actually likes dean (i did indeed hear the squeal of "it's CANON!" from all the castiel/dean shippers out there), and i think some of dean's humanity is rubbing off on him too.
possibly anna's a prime example of what happen when angels spend too much time with people - they quit heaven to be human. in a way she's kind of a cautionary tale.
why's sam doing his research to ruby and not dean? and how exactly does he exercise/bulk up/whatever his power? (that he's not going to do any more....) hm? Yes, this is something I totally forgot about in all the man pain and angst! But, I was So curious as to WHAT it is that Sam does to "beef up" his power.

i'm pretty sure the answer is "have sex with ruby". but it could probably be anything. and. um. i don't actually like sam/ruby, so if he's deciding he doesn't want to fuck her any more, i am a-ok with that.
but who knows, maybe it involves blood and squirrel sacrifice and latin rituals and whatever.
a good episode to go into hiatus with! they answered some questions and left some nice seeds for fic and meta. plus which, oh, boys. i still make the sadface for dean. :( and sam too, for not being able to do anything for him. because you know sam wants to, and he knows he can't.
Did you notice the part in the barn when Alistair is going after Dean and SAM clutches at his chest (tatoo) and grimaces in pain? As in, linked tattoos? *Must go back and re-watch*
i did not! and if i did, i probably thought it was just "ow, being thrown around by angels and demons really fucking hurts." now i have to rewatch that too.
