eight days of good things, day four - random fandom fics
because yesterday was metallicar fics, today's good things are random fandom fics. because i'm really not the fic-reading kind of fangirl, and i really only have two fandoms, but every so often i'll find or someone will send me to a random fic from a fandom i don't follow, and i'll read it and think "wow, i really like this", and it will make me happy. because let's be honest, good fic is good fic, wherever it comes from. and good fic gives me joy.

1 top gear/spn crossover, by the-funmonkey (uh... top gear and supernatural :D pg) - "hello, and welcome to a top gear special," the camera closed in on clarkson, "where we go to the deepest bowels of the united states to find out, once and for all, the perfect vehicle for a spot of demon hunting."
2 prince of darkness, by azewewish (3:10 to yuma, charlie prince, r) - warriors aren't made; they're forged.
3 some stay, by alethialia (generation kill, brad/nate, nc-17) - "got me all figured out, nate?" "getting there." "then it's high-time i proved you wrong."
4 consecration, by fox1013 (firefly, g) - we have done the impossible, and that makes us mighty.
5 pony express, by sageness (stargate: atlantis, john/rodney, pg) - i live in a cave. (how is this my life?)
6 control, by apiphile (hard core logo, billy/joe, pg-13) - because joe is a control freak.
7 salt over your shoulder, by lyra_wing (the black donnellys, kevin, pg) - maybe kevin had misunderstood it all these years.
8 intercession, by wrenlet (flight of the phoenix, rodney/john, nc-17) - he thinks it'll be a cold day in hell before he lets john wander off in the night again. ...fotp is my tiny fandom, but a random fandom to pretty much everyone else.
and of course, a bonus: we are bad news (well HE is), by swear_jar and apiphile (fall out boy/my chemical romance, pete/mikey, bob/frank, pete/frank, nc-17) - it started when pete accidentally got engaged to mikeyway. it's not really his fault, he was coming at the time. how was he to know it would end with frank running naked through hotel corridors wearing only a boy scout's scarf, screaming for lube?
