The Massu who lives busy schedules with tours and new regular programs.
This month, with 50 questions, we cut out the "now" from Massu.

01. Favourite food
Japanese, Italian and Chinese! I like chicken meat, gyoza and mizutaki (a kind of hot pot).
02. Food you dislike
I don't have any... I think. But, if something is too sweet, too spicy or too extreme, I don't really like them.
03. Favourite drinks
Coffee, water, tea, milk, soy milk, beer! I like sports drinks and cola too. For cola, it's best when it's tingling cold!
04. Today's breakfast
Hot sandwich. Ham, eggs and tuna in between, it was delicious.
05. Favourite sports
Swimming, dodge ball, basketball.
06. Things you have been practicing
Penmanship, cram school, swimming, soccer, English conversations, piano, gymnastics. The thing I've been doing for the longest time is swimming! Even now, I still swim at the gym.
07. Favourite colour
Black and white!
08. Favourite number
1. I like the design of the number itself, I just blurted out whatever came to mind.
09. Favourite scent
Osmanthus.
10. Type of women
Kind, cute, but a little strong-willed.
11. First kiss
Not yet ♡
12. Words for confession
Just a simple "I like you~!"
13. Ideal household
Something like the Masuda household maybe. For children, I guess I want one boy and one girl.
14. Average hours of sleep
5 or 6 hours I guess~
15. In the shower, where do you wash first?
...Head! Hair!
16. Some qualifications you would like to get?
Ship license! Even a small cruise would be fine, I want to be able to sail one.
17. If you were to win a lucky draw?
I'd hold a concert at Tokyo Dome! But it's lonely alone, so I'd invite a lot of guests! (laughs)
18. What would you bring to a deserted island?
Water! Or anything that can purify water. When I did an on-location shoot in Tanzania, I learnt that above eating or anything else, one would need hydration the most in extreme situations. Other than that, any tools that can start a fire.
19. If you had a time machine?
I would go back to a time where dinosaurs existed and see live ones up close! It'd probably be scary, but I do like them~ My favourite animals are elephants, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, they're kinda like dinosaurs right.
20. Favourite fashion
Layered clothes worn in spring or summer. Without being too hot or too cold, something that's fashionable despite the change in temperature. A parka on top of a T-shirt with half-length pants, or an unbalanced set of clothes but without any sense of discomfort.
21. If you could become a girl for a day?
I'd want to go to a girls' school. It'd be great if the uniform was a blazer. Hmm~ But I can't leave the sailor uniform alone.
22. Recent important product
Hand cream. My hands are really dry, so I apply it every day. Scentless ones are good.
23. Recent day off
I slept a lot, and went to eat dinner with a friend at a bar at night.
24. Anything that made you happy recently
How the new DUET volume cover pages are matte and aesthetically pleasing! It feels nice to the touch too!
25. Anything that pissed you off recently
Having mobile phones suddenly facing up to me in the streets, about to have my photo taken.
26. Something you bought recently
Clothes. I bought a lot of items.
27. What is a hero to you?
Anpanman! Because I used to watch the anime when I was little.
28. If you were to compare yourself to an animal?
Tiger! Because I was born in the year of the tiger (Zodiac sign). 1986, the year I was born, is a Goou no Tora (五黄の寅) year. It only comes every 36 years, and those born in that year are known to have the greatest luck and personality. (smirks)
29. What pet do you want to keep?
Dog. If I were to keep one, I'd want a cream-coloured dachshund.
30. Something you're hooked onto now
Clothes I guess~ (laughs) When it comes to clothes, I can go on about them forever.
31. Places you want to visit within the country
Yakushima. I want to go see Yakusugi.
32. Places you want to visit overseas
India and Egypt. For India, I have interest in their culture. And for Egypt, I want to see the pyramids and Sphinx.
33. Who are you close to in Johnny's?
Nakamaru (Yuuichi)-kun. Recently, KAT-TUN appeared as a guest in The Shounen Club Premium, and we talked a lot! We also made plans to go out to eat someday.
34. What are your habits?
Personality-wise, I always get ready right before the time I have to leave my house. I usually wake up one hour in advance, but I usually laze around and panic when I'm left with 5 minutes. (laughs) I'm the type who finishes their summer holiday homework at the last minute. For habits in terms of the way I speak, I say, "Well yeah~ (まぁ～ね～)" a lot I guess. I feel like I use it a lot when I'm on radio as well.
35. Indoor person? Outdoor person?
Half-half. I love camps and barbecues, but I also love lazing around at home. At home, I watch television and read magazines a lot.
36. Bread person? Rice person?
Bread in the morning~ ♪ Rice at night~ ♪ But I'm also in love with noodles!
37. Udon person? Ramen person?
Between these two, I'll say ramen. I love tonkotsu, Chinese-style and salt-flavoured ramen. But I love soba the most.
38. Bed person? Futon person?
Bed!
39. What do you wear to sleep?
Grey sweatpants and a long T-shirt or our tour T-shirts. I'm currently wearing the T-shirt from our NEVERLAND tour last year.
40. A Johnny's song you like
"Wangan Skier (湾岸スキーヤー)"
41. A karaoke song you're good at
"Himawari no Yakusoku (ひまわりの約束)"
42. Movies you like
"Ted", "Toy Story" and the "Despicable Me" series.
43. Books you like
Suzuki Osamu's "Celebrity Exchange Diary ~Yellow Hearts Story~ (芸人交換日記～イエローハーツの物語～)". It's the only book I've ever read!
44. What are your nicknames?
Apart from Massu, there's Macchan, Masuda, Takahisa. I've been called these three names by my friends from my hometown. I was called Massun too~
45. Tell us your weaknesses
I'm emotional. And naive. (laughs)
46. Then your strengths?
Blowing bubbles from my mouth!
47. Who you aim to be
SMAP!
48. What is your charm point?
Hm~~~~m...... (Actually was in deep thought for a while) I won't know for myself!
49. Tell us one of your secrets about your body
I won't say. (laughs)
50. What are your current aspirations?
I want to be on all the pages of DUET from the cover to the end! Also, I want to take photos of Johnny's groups consisting of just myself! Even the names would change to things like "MAS-SUN", "Hey! Say! Masuda!", "Kis-Masuda-Ft2", "Sexy Masuda"... things like that. (laughs) That sounds like fun ♪ I hope it'll become a reality!
