In summary, Johnny's are coming up with a new unit but they're virtual idols.
The two idols are voiced by Naniwa Danshi's Fujiwara Jouichirou and Oohashi Kazuya.
Both Fujiwara and Oohashi with their respective characters, Kaidou and Ichigoya.
Characters:
Kaidou Asuka (CV: Fujiwara Jouichirou)
Born on 1st December, in Osaka. Blood type A. 175cm. Favourite foods are meat with bell peppers, and fried chicken. A high-school student who attends a regular school but also participates in idol activities. A cool and composed prince character. He is usually calm, but his love for baseball is strong, so he gets really heated up when he talks about it.
Fujiwara Jouichirou with his character, Kaidou Asuka.
Ichigoya Kanata (CV: Oohashi Kazuya)
Born on 13th May, in Osaka. Blood type O. 169cm. Favourite foods are pudding and dried sliced daikon. A high-school student who attends a regular school but also participates in idol activities. A mischievous and simple-minded ball of sunshine. He has a cute smile and is good at getting spoilt, but also has a strong-hearted.
Oohashi Kazuya with his character, Ichigoya Kanata.
Fujiwara's comment:
"It's a new challenge, so when I first heard about it, I was really surprised. Surprised but excited. Given this is very important experience, so I am filled with nothing but excitement."
"Fujiwara Jouichirou is a character that talks a lot in a Kansai accent. He loves manga and comedy. Kaidou Asuka is very cool. But in turn, I'm excited for everyone to see me act out aspects that aren't in Fujiwara Jouichirou. I'm sure there will be many difficulties faced, but I'll try my best and further improve myself."
"We're tackling a new challenge. We're not sure what will happen after this, but we hope that we will eventually transmit as the virtual world. If we could increase the work opportunities given to the Kansai Johnny's Jr."

at first i was really like,,, what the hEck johnny's
why are they coming up with vIrTuAL iDOLs when they have so many Jr.'s to debut,,
but then i saw the illustration for the two idols and:
tbh the virtual idols look better 2D than 3D but ok

i used to listen to them religiously and i still do love their songs up till now ;;;;
(before i found the existence of Johnny's tbh)
i even still have their signed poster up on my wall from when i got to meet them for a handshake session back in 2015 ;;;
so it makes me wonder like, since they got someone related to NicoNico to do the illustrations, it doesn't seem too impossible for the models to be MMD tbh,,,
like really just LoOk at the quality of the models,,,
i'm pretty sure there's better softwares/models out there but okay cool,,,
