How to Train Your Dragon

miome and I went to see "How to Train Your Dragon." It was awesome. The animation in particular was spectacular and the character designs (especially the dragons) were fantastic. I love how the dragons moved and looked. It's nice to see dragons that don't have the same basic look of Draco from Dragonheart. Not that there was anything wrong with ( Read more... )

Thanks for reviewing this. I have been wondering if it would be good based on a few of the commercials that I have seen. With some of the new cartoons coming out you can never know if they are going to suck or not. And theaters cost so much anymore and wouldn't want to feel like I was wasting my money.

It is good plot wise as well, though there were a few rough patches/holes in it. Not big enough to ruin the movie, but big enough for me to notice. I just didn't want to spoil anyone since this is opening weekend.

I agree about how with some of the new cartoons/computer animated movies coming out you can't tell whether they are going to suck or not. Some of the most recent ones have been really terrible.

We paid $8 a person for matinee. I can remember when regular was only $4.50. ;_;

We actually found a theater in the next town over that is $1.50 before 6 pm and $2 after. Mondays are only $.75 and Wednesdays are $1.25!!!! The movies are all a few months old, but who cares!
