Played poker last night. Played really bad. Lost a bunch of money. Bah. At least I know what I did wrong

Probably never if the game is otherwise good.
Putting money in without looking is an expensive indulgence.

If the game needs loosening or you need to maintain an image of a "gambling" guy, then occasionally killing in position can't be too awful. I must admit, I find it hard to believe that any California poker game needs to be juiced up further :)
