on so many levels i'm Dean (music, snark, sarcasm, i'm the oldest. anyway). but i think when it comes to spoilers, i'm Jared. in one of my many conversations with Bodge, she mentioned the reason Jared is a "walking spoiler" is that to him it's not spoilery. it makes sense; he knows where it's going. sometimes spoilers are good, sometimes they're bad... it depends on the situation.
'spoilers' in bodgei aren't really spoilers in the sense that i'm thinking because they're based on your own brainpower, and therefore, you're never certain that you're right until it actually happens. i don't consider speculation to be spoilers.
like, if you were to say 'bobby dies in this ep ...' amnd it was based on definite info - that would be a spoiler for me.

back to your actual post, heh ... i like your theory for what happens, because it would not be very dramatic if Dean just popped back into existence without any worry. that would defeat the entire purpose of killing Dean in the first place ... lol, one of my friends (trying to reassure me) said 3x16 was just a 'dream sequence' :D

I know what you mean about being a walking spoiler. Sometimes it's just obvious where the story is going....like, Dean is going to be back in the premiere. I knew this as I was watching the finale, Jensen is just too big a part of the show to have him be absent for more than one episode, but I still felt awful watching him die D:

I think Jensen doesn't do the out-loud speculating for the same reason he doesn't share personal information or talk about his relationships: He's learned to be super careful around the fangirls - Jared, bless him, has not yet learned this.

oh i hear you there... but for the sake of the story, and the impact it would have - i think Eric should have Dean first come back at the end of the episode. ;)
