I don't know...yu knwo I have never been a fan of Sam's powers but, like I said, it's Kripke's story.
A friend pointed out this: Lilith killed Dean and tried to kill Sam. What if, when she tried to kill Sam, Dean wasn't already dead and since she didn't respect the deal (Dean dead, Sam alive), his soul didn't actually go to Hell?
Yes, I would agree that Sam's power - latent or no - not only repelled Lilith's White Hands of Doom - they completely NULLIFIED them. She didn't so much as curl the paint on the wall. And Sam? Didn't even break a sweat.
I'm speculating that Lilith is the one to bring Dean back. He is her ONLY leverage against Sam now.
Duuuude...I'm so far behind you. I still haven't finished season one yet. *Looking forward to being able to discuss SN meta with you, because your theories are pretty damn interesting*
Oh, I finally got to the "Demons I get" episode. He's right...people ARE crazy!
Lilith leaves the host body, and it falls to the ground. (which should be dead, because Bobby shot it back in Sin City. thanks, whoever remembered and posted that
BUT the demons have said the bodies are just meat suits. Bobby shot Ruby's "meat suit" in Sin City. Kripke never said that Ruby wouldn't be back - but he never said anything about Katie Cassidy. "Ruby" is just that demon smoke until she takes over a human - just like "Meg" was.
and yes. S4 for the Demon War and Sam's Powers, and All About Mary, and How They Bring Dean Back. :D
Hmmm, this is an interesting theory, especially since it's been hinted at so much that Sam may in fact be EVIL, lol. But I MUCH PREFER your way of thinking, cause I've NEVER liked the whole evil!Sammy thing, so I'm hoping this is true. :)
