But why, oh why, SPN when Sons of Anarchy is abroad?

- buys Season 1. Has to come from the States, though, it'll be a few days. Um, you want fic?
Actually, I remember saying to you ages ago, it's OK, I won't write SPN ... so knowing I will do is a little odd. Really, truly, (although I am liking the stories) I want to *write* hell. Seven layers to it, interconnected; Dante and Persephone and bees, guilt, redemption, the failure of order to create community ... I am collecting sevens. Virtue. Sin.
However (feel free to laugh, you've heard this one before) I've seen four episodes from season one so far.
On the other hand, I'm writing Highlander for amand_r's shortcuts and it feels like putting on slippers and curling up by the fire. This one, I'm collecting man-walks-into-a-bar jokes for ...
Hope all well. Missed you.

I do love some of the ideas (and some of the spectacular vids) for SPN -- but I couldn't watch the show. The draw of hell is undeniable, though.
I'm writing for shortcuts as well. I'm researching scents, this year.
I've been remiss as a correspondent. Miss you as well.

DVDs? Thank you for the offer! - I could have downloaded, but watch the things so seldom I like them in pretty packages. (Guilty look there at seasons 1-3 of SPN, very cheap on amazon, but there's so much I want to read!)
But most important, so glad you're writing for shortcuts. I searched the sign-ups for your name, and I was late (it was Killa's if-I-can-do-it-you-can-too post that flung me in the right direction) committing, so assumed you weren't. Considered last year, and kept my fingers crossed. Um ... do I mention Yuletide?

So. It's all postmodern with fully integrated soundtrack. Really, it was meant to be shot this way. And everyone was fantastic to work with: I learned so much, they're all my brother/sister/aunt/guru ...
