How do you do this? How do you come up with so many charming, perfectly gorgeous stories that are all so different? The worlds are so unique, the characters different, yet still 'in-character', the plots completely distinct - I'm simply amazed.

This is awesome. And yes, I will post about it too!

ou_peachus, thank you.

I am so glad you liked this one - Occurrence of Dragons - simply because it was such fun to write. I can't often write bookish fic for SPN - it just doesn't fit that well? But here, in this place with these dragons, it seemed to feel right. So I am so very, very glad you liked this one too, just because I'm stupidly fond of it, and so knowing it worked for you ia absolutely lovely.

Thank you so much for saying, too. And thank you for the rec - such a belated thanks, too: I am sorry. (Writing, deadline, gift-fic.)

Hope all is well!

I'm obsessed with dragons in general BUT HOLY CRAP THIS. Amazing. My mouth was hanging open for half of it, just the language and the pacing were ridiculously perfect, the reveal at each turn was absolutely perfect. You knew what I wanted more than I could ever imagine. I resolutely bow to your awesome, just...wow.

I want to know when Jared figured it out, because he had to have had an idea. And I want to know if it does happen for Jared, if he does transform. And I really want to know if the University change their tune and what changes they make.

Here via deirdre_c pimping you in her journal. You fascinate me.

Reading this and Tomorrow When the Apricots - it's stunning, the worldbuilding in both of them. I think I said this about Wolflord, too, but the amount of intricate detail is what makes it so delicious. You are working at such a high level in the macro (worldbuilding) and micro (detail) at the same time in all of these stories.

Hey. :)

- really rather quietly nice to know you've been here for everything. But, worldbuilding - yes. In this particular fandom, this AU representation of a fandom characterisation of an actor's public persona... I rather feel I can write almost anything. It's a lot more free than writing in canon, where I feel that not only character but situation (and the language and rhythm of that situation) has to reflect what series or book or film you're writing. J2 is playing for me, incredibly good fun to write, and it's that which makes it so very easy to create these alternative worlds. I rather think the trick is to stay internally true to those worlds within the writing of them, from speech patterns to analogies to the weather: I rather like, sneakily, the different books and beverages each one contains!

- so glad you liked this one in particular, though. Dragons! :)

But I'm so sorry to be late replying - writing to a deadline, gift fic.

I am sorry - I can't help smiling a little, because I think this is the third comment of yours I've replied to today! Thank you so very much for letting me know - every time, and especially this one, because I love these dragons too!

Oh my god oh my GOD that was stellar. I love so many of your stories but this has snuck in somewhere towards the top of my favourites of yours. !!!!!!! SO GOOD. The mix of wistful and joyful, the perfect balance of worldbuilding and the characterisation, and that ENDING, my GOODNESS! I flopped over sideways on the sofa in a full-body happy-sigh. ♥

Dragons!!!!

- no, seriously, I just couldn't get past the pleasure of writing both dragons *and* books for SPN. Not something that's going to happen more than once, but crumbs, fun while it happened! Glad you liked it too. :)

But I don't think it matches your sentient bikes. Honestly, I have a smile on my face every time I think of those, and you'd be surprised quite how often I do think of them! I had a serious talk with mine, but... they're not co-operating yet. Ah well.
