Well, Kid showed up at midnight, as his note said he would, to steal the Storm God's Tear. I enlisted the aid of both Hakuba and Conan-kun to help me out. Though we were unable to apprehend him, at least we were able to prevent him from making off with the jewel. The credit for that belongs with Conan-kun. Considering we didn't have the entire Task Force mucking things up? I'd say we stood a much better chance of catching you.

Though I have to admit, this whole heist was pretty low, even for you. Disguising yourself as Hakuba? And that paint trap? My clothes were completely ruined! Do you have any idea how hard it is to find men's clothes in my size?

I know how you feel, Kid disguised as Ran once.

Almost, I had some doubts at first but but after a few minutes it became clear to me that he was Kid.

I have to admit, Conan-kun, I'm a little bit jealous of you. You managed to corner Kid on the roof and prevent him from making off with the Storm God's Tear. If it weren't for your help, Kid would have gotten away far too easily, with the jewel in hand.

Only because Conan-kun was there to see through his disguise. I hate to admit it, but I was completely convinced that Kid was Hakuba...

I won't make the same mistake twice, though.

Erm, yes. Hakuba isn't at all fond of people bringing firearms to Kid's heists, but I don't like going around without a means of defending myself. I created this special yo-yo as a means of helping me to apprehend Kid without causing serious injury to him.

No, not at all. I failed, yes, but I feel that I've improved somewhat. The more heists I attend, the better I'll become. I just have to keep trying.

Definitely not. I remember when I was his age, I was still assisting my Grampa from behind the scenes. I hadn't even started my professional career then.
