Thanks to god he's alright. Memory loss again, it seems like a pattern.

It was my pleasure. But know you need to relax, you barely slept.

Yes. Probably due to the strain of having to face one's darkest thoughts. It's a wonder the victims weren't driven insane...

I can't help it. When something is bothering me, my mind worries at it like a dog worries at a bone. At least I was able to resist the urge to filch some liquor from Grampa's cabinet, right?

It remember me that time in the Dreaming...Do you think that he will be alright?

That happens to us all, even more to detective who tends to think about something until we solve it or it drives us mad. True, you should be proud.

The Dreaming...?

Yes, he should be fine. A few days of rest is all he needs. Yukiko-san went through the same thing with no ill effects.

You're probably right about that. I think having you there helped, you know? Even if I tried, you'd just take the bottle from me.

I'm glad to know that he's not severely injured.

Me too! He's going to need plenty of rest for the next few days, though. As much as I'd like to see him, it's probably for the best that I let him convalesce.

Tell me, how did you birthday party go?

Resting is always good, are you going to visit him in the hospital? Do you want company?

It was fantastic! I was surprised that so much people from other world come. Thank you a lot for the rpesent.

Oh, no! He's not in the hospital. He's at home. His mother is taking care of him. Um... I'll wait until he's well before I visit him. I'm not sure if he's ready to face everyone yet, not after everything they've seen...

Your welcome! I hope you find it an enjoyable read. How was Kaito's magic show? Was everyone impressed?

((Naoto got her a hardbound copy of Sabriel by Garth Nix. It's a fantasy tale with strong romantic overtones.))

Me too! I knew he was strong enough to pull through this!

And that's why I'm even more determined to catch the culprit. What he's done to these people is beyond cruel. This is mental torture at its worst. I refuse to let another person fall victim to his heinous crimes.

That's what I intend to find out. This community probably plays a role in it, somehow. I'm convinced the culprit is a member, so that he is able to keep tabs on the victims. He probably views what happens to the victims on that strange broadcast to be entertainment. I have no doubt that he derives great pleasure in watching the victims suffer and slowly spiral into despair.

If my profile of the suspect is correct, then we're dealing with a true sociopath.

I'm so glad! He seemed really troubled, at the end...

You're moving to Inaba?

Of course I was worried... He's my friend. I'd feel the same way if anything happened to you, or anyone else who was close to me.

Yes. I was supposed to move in the day after Kanji-kun went missing, but I thought it best to delay it until after he'd been safely recovered.

I think that's the nicest thing you've said to me!

Do you like tofu? I'll tell my grandma about you, and she'll give you some for free!

...really?

I've never really had it before... But I certainly won't turn down a heartfelt gift from a friend.

Um... How do you cook it?

Indeed! He certainly had all of us worried. I'm sure his mother is so happy to have him back safe and sound.

Now that that's all over, I can finally concentrate on moving into my new flat.

He's back to normal, right?

Do you need any help?

As far as I can tell, that seems to be the case. It's just like what happened with Yukiko-san and Yosuke-san. A few days of rest, and he'll be as right as rain.

I've asked Isse-san and Minato-kun to help me move my things, and if Kanji-kun is feeling up to it, he'll help, too. You're welcome to join us, if you like. I plan to take everyone out to dinner afterward.
