Detention should totally count as a club. The biggest trouble is that the people who are in detention tend to get into fights among themselves.

Envy, meet Squalo. You'll be seeing him in detention a lot, and he's likely to insult you for no apparent reason other than to pick a fight with you. I'm sure you'll hate each other most of the time.

I don't think Squalo will even know his own lineage, but he is not above punching your hideous face in if you insult him over it.

Squalo's used to people with red eyes so he's not really gonna give a damn. ...he's making so many enemies it's hilarious. XD

And getting into fights is the number one reason Envy ends up in detention, I bet.
