Twenty cases in the span of three days? When do you detectives eat or sleep? It's a wonder any of you have time for school work. Unfortunately, none of those cases I solved will count toward my goal... [sighs] Back to square one, I suppose.

Yes. I suppose his parents want him to get settled in before the spring term starts. That's why he's leaving during vacation. I never got the chance to invite him over to the estate...

Saguru... He did, but I was staying at my flat in Inaba. I suppose you didn't see him. It got really crowded at times, so he tried to visit when there weren't many people around.

Heh. I was so stubborn about the case that I didn't want to leave Inaba at all, even when I was hurt... I've invested so much time into it.

Well, there appears to be an overabundance of high school detectives in Hakuba's world. The competition can be rather fierce...

I'm fine. I just... Senpai's going to leave in two day's time. I can't help but feel sad for some reason. I should be happy for him. He's going back home to his parents. They've probably missed him a lot...

No farewells because we'll see each other again? Yes, I suppose you're right.

I don't think, I know we'll see Senpai again. Because we all share a bond that cannot be broken, not by time or distance. We may have to wait a long time, but we'll see him again, someday...
