Nanako-chan is alive... He didn't kill her. Somehow, she recovered...

He's innocent. He told us everything.

All this time, he was trying to save people... not knowing that he was sending them to a place of almost certain death.

What a sad and pitiful situation. That poor man...

...I was so certain that he was the killer. The Namatame that appeared on the Midnight Channel practically asked us to kill him.

But I was wrong. We all were. That wasn't his intent at all. I was willing to act as judge, jury, and executioner without even listening to Namatame's side of the story...

He was trying to protect us. In his own misguided way, he wanted to save us from the killer... To abscond us to a place where he couldn't reach...

God, I've been such a fool!

Told you everything? What exactly is everything?

Why should I tell you anything? You obviously know a lot more about this case than you have any right to! You even knew about how people ended up in that other world long before I was able to figure it out!

Which begs the question... Who told you about the TV world?

Because I'm curious, of course.

TV world? What are you talking about? You're crazier than I am little missy!

Don't think I've forgotten about that little clue you gave me before, after Kanji-kun was rescued. About thinking "inside the box," to find the answer.

Not only that, you spoke to Kanji-kun before and mentioned something about people being "put inside the TV". Obviously, you slipped up.

I would look at as all bad, more of something to learn from. You didn't throw him in and now you see what letting your emotions fuel you during a case can do.

As they say, 'it's a lot different to think those thoughts then to actually do them.' And above all else now you know Murder isn't an option. Be grateful for what you didn't do rather then be ashamed of what you could have done.

I thought I was already aware of that fact, when I used myself as bait for the killer. I told myself that I'd keep a level head from now on...

Nanako-chan had died. She died! And all I could think of was the man responsible was right here in this hospital, and we...

But they brought her back. The doctors managed to resuscitate her, right after we left Namatame's room. It was a miracle. I still can't explain it, but... I'm so glad! Nanako-chan and Namatame are both alive and well...

That's thing about miracles Shirogane, they don't need explaining.

That's true. I don't really care how it happened; what matters is that she's alive and well.

But after hearing Namatame's confession, we know that the true culprit is still at large. I feel as though we have all the pieces here in our hands... but there's still something missing.

There are a few suspicions that we need to confirm before we can definitively identify the killer. The next few days are going to be crucial in our investigation...

I see. ...It's difficult to know that all of this arose from a misunderstanding... But at least Nanako is alive and well - or at least, will get well.

She died, Issei-kun... We were there. She died! And yet, by some miracle, they managed to resuscitate her.

I've never been a deeply religious person, but perhaps God (or some other benevolent being) had a hand in all of this... I'm just so happy that Nanako-chan is all right...

It's wonderful! I'm glad you can appreciate the magnitude of what has happened for what it is. Hopefully, we can all rest easy tonight.

I'll sleep better than I have in ages, I know that. As will Senpai and Dojima-san.

But we still have a lot of work ahead of us. With Namatame's confession, we know for a fact that the true culprit is still at large. The next few days will prove to be crucial to our investigation.

Soon, Rise-chan... Hopefully soon.

Right now, we need to slow down and carefully re-examine the case. Tomorrow, we'll go out and conduct one last investigation and retrace our steps. With Namatame's depositions, we should be able to identity our suspect if we ask the right questions. We're overlooking something vital... I can feel it.

I have a feeling that we may have already met our suspect previously... we just didn't know it at the time.

Rise-chan... Just because you're not our on the battlefield doesn't mean you're not a big help to us! Without your ability to scan the Shadows' weaknesses, we'd have to fight twice as hard to explore the TV world.

But we need to focus on events in the real world. Tomorrow, we'll go over the case at the special headquarters, and then split up and conduct our investigation. Any piece of information, no matter how small, could prove to be the vital clue we need to solve this case.

I'm counting on you to do you best, as you've always done!
