Right now we're staying with our first couchsurfing acquaintance in St. Paul. Davi had narrowed down a group of potential hosts for me and I decided that I'd like to stay with the older couple. Hampshire isn't that far away from here, and it's really not that bad. I'm not as affected by the cold I think though, but it really isn't that bad. And it's New England, so remember on thing. "If you don't like the weather in New England, wait an hour."

Yeah, weather makes such a difference... The problem with it is that while it doesn't directly affect your educational experience, it's ALWAYS there, affecting you. I wish I could go to school in Mexico.

Teresa's at Oglethorpe in Atlanta and really likes it there. It's small and liberal arts focused, not a science place. But it's in a consortium so you can access a lot of stuff they don't have. Might be worth a look. It is warm there.
