in Confidential was Peter Davidson and Sylvester McCoy. And second one was in his Doctor outfit. So maybe Ten will unregenerate in his past form, and thats why he is the threefold man??

But its just my speculations :)

His fighting hand is the one he is currently using ^^ Yeah, I know ... but calling it his "unfighting hand" sounds silly. :P

Yeah -- don't you think Donna would have beat that like a dead horse, the regeneration thing? They have someone for continuity on the series -- why wasn't that caught?

Hi! Here through T&C. I agree with all your questions. As for the Doctor's hand in a jar, my current theory is that the events in Doctor's Daughter (which, to me, while a good episode, just didn't seem to fit quite right with the rest of the season) might now become relevant. It was his "fightin' hand" that got pulled into that tissue replicator and was used to create Jenny. When Jenny died and "regenerated" (using the term VERY loosely in this case) she didn't change her bodily form. And it was the Doctor's right hand that he looked at before he started "regenerating". A clue perhaps?

There are definitely a bajillion unanswered questions and Saturday can't get here fast enough.

I didn't catch him looking at the hand ... You very well may be right! But didn't Jenny spew out the bio-gen energy from that planet? It was reminiscent of TCI but... definitely not the energy we see at his regenerations past... and not of the Master, either.

I think we're meant to believe that's what she did. And maybe it is exactly what she did. I'm really not sure. It was just a thought I had driving to work the other day. But, yeah, there was definitely something a bit different about this current "regeneration".

And he didn't look at the hand in the jar. I'm just noting that the hand he held up to observe was the right "fightin' hand". Could mean absolutely nothing. Or could mean everything. Damn RTD and his mind games!
