...I also love roses. Gardening is actually a great hobby of mine, and I have 2-3 gardens, myself. Are you familiar with the Victorian custom of portraying meanings through flowers? I also am interested in that... I used the red rose, symbolizing love, as a metaphor. It may make things a little bit more clear if you read it with that in mind...^_~
