I finished the watercolor I started this weekend on vacation last night. Since it was my first try, I decided not to post it, as there were a few elements I was very unhappy with! However, last night, I tried a vegetable still life which I believe turned out rather well for a second try. I was up all night and worked for 5.5 hours straight! That's the longest running session I've had since 1993 I think. It wasn't out of the ordinary for me to sit at my drawing table for 3-5 hours a night back in my high school years. So I had another insomnia night... I finished up a landscape I started in oils with acrylics and then drew/painted a second with oil pastels. This was my first serious oil pastels attempt.
