"Don't follow me," that was what he had told us. Well, I wouldn't have felt the need to 'follow him' if I had any effing idea of what Godric was planning to begin with. He was acting... stranger than usual, that one, and I was sure he was planning to do something Isabel and I would not approve. Not that he need our approval, but he had always been ( Read more... )

I didn't have to wait long until I spotted Stan walking up to Fangtasia, I rolled my eyes as he spoke to me.

“Well damn, Isabel, funny to find you here of all places. What are you doing? Satisfying one of your boy-toys many kinks?” He taunted.

"Stan you're so predictable, I noticed the moment you left town." I informed him, "It's lucky that I can travel much faster then you." I teased, he hated it when I be-littled him about his age.

I had figured that Stan had come to see Godric, but I hadn't figured out exactly why.

"What is so important that you would disobey our Sheriff's direct orders?" I crossed my arms across my chest as I asked him.

And there we have it it again, Isabel getting in her high horse to remind me she's older than me. Well fuck it, I am not a young vampire, either.

"The only reason you can travel faster than me is because you're thinner, woman."

Of course she knew I was here, but what she didn't know was that I knew that she was glad I had disobeyed Godric's orders -this gave her the perfect chance to come to Shreveport herself to find out where the hell our Sheriff was and what he was doing/planning on doing. And of course, when Godric finds out that we both had disobeyed him, she'll be point her damn finger at me telling him that the only reason she came here was to drag me back to Texas.

Woman were so predictable, especially at old age.

"You shouldn't have come, Stan. And I shouldn't have come either. Godric wont be amused about this intrusion, I have a feeling this was more of a personal visit, he wont be pleased if we interrupt him." I said in my calm voice.

Trying to talk sense into Stan was like talking to a brick wall, I don't even know why I still bothered.

Although I do admit to myself, that I was glad we were in Shreveport. I had grown quite worried by Godric's sudden departure and lack of communication. Our nest in Texas were still quite anxious about the attacks on our kind, I worried that in Godric's absence, a war would be started, and I promised myself I'd do everything in my power to prevent such a thing.

She had evaded my question, which only meant that I was right. Knowing her as well as I did, she was concerned that Godric's little disappearance act would make matters worst back home -a war might start between our kind and humans, something I wanted and something both Godric and Isabel were trying to avoid.

I wondered exaclty what she had found out that was so against on telling me, which only meant it was bad news for her and was concerned of my reaction. So now we were stuck in one of those moments I liked to call What Will Godric Do?

Well, more like What Will Godric Wouldn't Do?

Oh, the possibilities.

"You know, it would be good if you tell me exaclty what you have found out, 'cause if you don't, I will march inside this... place and talk to Eric myself. You wouldn't want that, right?"
